PHMSA Forum Explores Best Safety Practices and Developments

When it comes to protecting the public from liquid/gas pipeline failures—particularly those of a potentially catastrophic nature—the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) and NACE members play avital role. To that end, CORROSION 2021 will host a virtual forum in which industry experts will address the issue of corrosion in pipeline safety.

The PHMSA Pipeline Safety Forum will take place on Thursday, April 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CT.

Presented by Kevin Garrity (MEARS), Alan Mayberry(PHMSA), and Vince Murchison (Murchison Law Firm), the forum will offer best pipeline safety practices and the latest developments from both a regulator and industry perspective. Policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders will discuss the role of PHMSA and other agencies in improving pipeline safety and asset integrity.

The PHMSA Forum is your chance to hear an annual update from key PHMSA officials and discuss proposed rules that may be considered in 2021. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from fellow members and stakeholders on the latest trends in pipeline safety.
